Police say Emerson student's death in Allston was homicide

Boston Police report they are treating Daniel Hollis's death during a fight on Park Vale Avenue early Saturday as a homicide and are looking for whoever might have had something to do with him falling and suffering a fatal brain injury by hitting his head on bricks and cement.

Hollis, 19, died yesterday afternoon from extensive brain injuries, his family reported. He was from Hopedale.

The information surrounding this case has been sparse. I got the feeling that he was out with friends of his when this fight started. Surely they know something, even if the other group that they fought with were strangers. I agree that this should be treated as a murder case.
