A friend who was with Hollis at the time said the Emerson student was trying to calm everyone involved in a scuffle after a party in Allston.

You try to be the nice guy and this is what happens.

Why are there so many holes in this story.

Why is the Globe publishing this tory over and over without any details as to what happened? Someone died, and quite often, within 24 hours they know what happened (or what some witnesses say happened).

Marine+Emerson+Globe=?
