Four Uber passengers tried to rob driver, but then he spotted a cruiser, police say
Boston Police report arresting three of the four teens they say tried to hold up an Uber driver shortly before 8 p.m. on Blue Hill Avenue, just north of Morton Street.
Police say the driver that as the driver and his four passengers approached Woodrow Avenue, the one in the front with him "started to feel the victim’s pockets asking him for money." Only he didn't have any, and told the four Uber drivers carry no cash. Undeterred, one of the four demanded he head for an ATM and get them some cash, police say.
The driver continued driving when he observed a marked Boston Police cruiser. As the driver approached the cruiser, the passengers started yelling at the Uber driver demanding him to turn off Blue Hill Avenue away from the police. The victim ignored his passengers demands and stopped to report the incident to the police. All four passengers exited the Uber and fled on foot in different directions. Several units from District B-3 responded and located three out of the four passengers.
The three, too young to have their names released, were all charged with being delinquent for attempted unarmed robbery, police say.

I would think teens would know
Uber drivers don't get paid in cash.

Question
How many of your fellow boomers had juvie records for shit like this?
It has to be a pretty impressive number since the adolescence and young adulthood of the baby boom carried with it a tsunami of crime not seen before or since.
TL/DR: Okay Boomer
your point?
no point is clear in your post, except for your hostility,
which doesn't really help build community

But honestly, they're quite disgusting. They all need severe ones. That's what's wrong with these damn kids. Illicit behavior is met with a slap in the wrist instead of the hine pots as my grandfather would say. Some parents I have empathy for and some I just don't. You have the enabling type and then you have the unable type all sad and these are the results of both.
Excuse much?...
How many of my friends committed robberies? No many actually. In an attempt to normalize this criminal activity you are so far off the mark. Swing and a miss.
Ugh!
Regardless of what other people say or think, the age of 16 is still too young to vote, because a 16 year old is still a child.
