I didn’t see any type of apocalyptic styles shelves. We needed TP and paper towels, and they had plenty.
Note. My wife is a nurse at an area hospital and we weren’t stockpiling, just needed basics.

except dry milk powder in large (20 gallon) boxes.
Where, in the name of Elsie The Cow, can one get that stuff now? Wegmans? The Chelsea Market Basket? Some restaurant bulk supply store (there used to be one near the Green Street T stop, is it still there) ?
And, yes, I know it tastes awful. But it's better than buying lots of regular milk and having it go sour.

BMS paper supply (a bit of a misnomer if you ask me) on Washington St is still there and has bulk supplies of lots of things. Haven't checked for powdered milk.

Wow. I remember my mom used to get it from welfare when I was a kid. She never really made it into milk. I would snack on it dry, for some reason I liked the taste. I've even purchased it as an adult to eat, but wow, it's been years since I've come across it. I'm curious to know too.
