Live Boston reports that when firefighters arrived at 38 Wellsmere Rd. in Roslindale around 4>25 p.m., they found flames shooting from a garage with drums full of chemicals.
They were able to knock the fire down before it could spread to neighboring houses, Live Boston reports.

That property has an insulation company - Metro Insulation - on site with all its trucks and storage. You can see the trucks in the photo. I've never understood how this works. The trucks and clearly chemicals are stored on site and I guess operations run out of the three-decker next door? How is this allowed under zoning or city regs in a dense residential neighborhood.
