Terror Train
Imaging the terror in the other passengers eyes while trapped in a steel box rambling through downtown Boston. I don't know how the Transit Police handle this call. If he is infected and they arrest him several officers will be infected also.
Coronavirus Challenge?
Apparently some "influencers" are challenging their followers to post videos of themselves licking and coughing on things in public. One of the influencers who started this trend by licking a toilet seat now has the virus and is taking up a hospital bed and other resources. https://nypost.com/2020/03/25/influencer-reportedly-hospitalized-with-co... No idea if the T incident was related, but it's as good an explanation as any.

But even 12 months ago, licking a toilet seat would elicit a loud WTF.
But that also makes it a general "what's wrong with people?" thing.

Just as a crisis like this brings out the absolute best in many people it also unfortunately brings out the worst in some low class and tacky individuals.
