Gary the roving UHub photographer spotted a tree that was foiled in its descent to the ground by a house on Dent Street in West Roxbury this afternoon.
Over in Dorchester, Kate Kelly reports a large tree on the grounds of the Neighborhood House Charter School managed to fall just right - missing both her house and anything important on the school grounds:

Meanwhile, in Medford:
This windy day has brought down tree limbs all throughout the city. This limb fell onto a passing car at Suffolk St and Wyman St. The occupant of the vehicle was unharmed. pic.twitter.com/bExCCelKvs

Almost 12 hours after I was awakened by the high winds, I got a robot call from Eversource warning that there will be high winds today.

at a massive limb hanging on the wires here in Lower Allston. There's a Boston Fire truck parked up the street. Every now and then we can hear the occupant get on the loudspeaker to divert passersby.

From this angle the house seems fine. I hope that is just a cable/internet wire it dragged over.
