What happens to cops who use them?

Unless they are immediately fired, have their pensions stopped and arrested for assault or attempted murder, this is just for show.

NYC banned chokeholds in the 90s.

Eric Garner’s murderer remained on the NYPD 5 years after killing Garner on video.

How about putting your hands around someones neck is equal to lethal force. That covers all your bases.

There will probably be a lot of those pesky bodycams malfunctioning too.

Not just that, but also implemented all of the 8 Can’t Wait policies and adopted the EPIC Program, which were all detailed in a very lengthy, well written statement yesterday.

Made me proud of the BPD.

Military Police training and a chokehold was never part of it. Airbase Ground Defense was when you trained to kill somebody.

And they love taking about how choke holds aren’t lethal force and if done properly can actually do more good than harm when it comes to force.

I would disagree but I’m not trained in any of that so I keep my mouth shut.
