In NoLa you can drink on the streets, and there are plenty of bars with outdoor facing slurpee machines full of gloriously quiescently frozen booze bombs to choose from.
Rather different risk scenario versus getting a Bloody Mary to bring home with your brunch takeout.

Highly highly recommend the Bees Knees 42 proof, the Mango Daiquiri, and the Soutie Mule. Have tried and loved all.
