Not far away
A (expletive)ton of staties and at least one EMS vehicle made a beeline to Castle Island around 7 last night. What's the deal with that?
Castle Island/ State Police
There was a fight out there. Boston EMS was called to evaluate injuries. The state police blocked off traffic to stop any vehicles from going out there as a result.
I have nothing further in it. Nothing mentioned in the media.
"A fight"
This called for at least eight staties. Your tax dollars at work.
So ...
They should have sent a Texas Ranger?
Nah
Corey Kluber already hurt himself.
>Always operate at slow, no
>Always operate at slow, no-wake speed (6 mph or less) within 150 feet of a swimmer, the shoreline, a water-skier, a boat launch, a raft or float or a moored or docked boat
LOL
I know, right? Hilarious.
Not funny--sad people can't
Not funny--sad people can't follow basic safety, which is also the law in Massachusetts. The State Police will regularly hand out fines for people operating watercraft too fast close to shore and other hazards. That's a really bad area to be taking turns cruising around on Jet Skis as it's primarily a boat launch, recovery, and mooring area, which makes it a no wake zone.
Jetskis...
...are aquatic crotch rockets. There are people who use them to good purpose (water rescue, surfer tows), but too many of those who are drawn to them are the last people who should be using them.
