Roy G Biv came across this fleet of Dunksmobiles ready to roll into action. He could not, of course, disclose the location.

Yuck
It's disgusting how the advertising machinery has positioned this purveyor of low-quality obesogenic foods, payer of subsistence wages, and polluter of the planet to be some sort of lovable, iconic "New England" brand.
Yet I don't blame this blog for pimping itself out to Dunkin Brands as regularly as it does - gotta pay the bills somehow.
Here, have some Munchkins
For what it's worth (one of those Munchkins, no doubt), Dunkin' has never advertised on the ol' Hub (not that I would turn them down). They are, however, part of the local zeitgeist and so, yes, I take relatively frequent notice of them.
Old UHubber Request
Do we really need anon comments? Seems like the recent crop is affected by the drought.
Pretty sure Adam is shooting for a wider audience
For a couple reasons:
1. I bet his advertisers want to see at least a few clicks from different visitors.
2. I wouldn't be surprised if he found the incessant arguing by the usually suspects a bit tedious.
No and yes
The only thing advertisers seem to care about consistently is the geographic location of visitors, and that's remained consistent for years: The vast majority of UHub visitors are in the Boston area (because, really, who else would want to read most of what I post?).
Yeah, racist, aggravating trollers get really tedious, but the worst of them never show up in public here, because the software provides a Delete box and I'm not afraid to use it.
As for allowing anonymous comments in general, more people do try to comment now than a year ago, and so moderation (as in scanning through anonymous messages to decide which ones get made public and which get zapped into the ether) takes up more time. I'm still thinking it's worth it because some people lose their logins and some people still have worthwhile things to say but, for whatever reasons, don't want to provide the e-mail address required to create an account.
Thanks for the reply, Adam
Good info.
I've never created a login but not really b/c I don't want to give you my email address.
Of all sites I trust yours the most.
I'm on here less and less these days (for reasons other than your content) but maybe counterintuitively I'll create an account so I don't have to search for my comment when I do drop back in.
Keep up the good work, sir. And a belated "shana tovah."
Gee, I can't imagine why a
Gee, I can't imagine why a company founded in Quincy, headquartered in Canton and with it's franchisee training program in Braintree might have some sort of a New England identity.
Sorry kid, born and raised in
Sorry kid, born and raised in New England and there is NOTHING New England about Dunkin Donuts. Thanks for playing!
I was born, raised and live
I was born, raised and live in one of those 3 municipalities I mentioned so I'm not really sure your credentials are any greater than mine...
I don't particularly care for Dunkin, I can make better coffee from a can of Maxwell House (and I don't love that either) but you can't really be arguing that there is no association between Dunkin and either Massachusetts or the region, can you?
Case Closed
Anon, arbiter of all things New England, has spoken.
Don't trust that anon -
Don't trust that anon - clearly a fake! Look at how they misspelled "keed"!
Obesogenic!
I learned a new word today. UH is so educational! :-)
Anon, you read like you'd be
Anon, you read like you'd be a blast at a party. Adam, I'm sorry if you don't like my reply to this person and understand if you block me but I'm tired of people commenting (anonymously to boot) trying to give you a hard time. Not sure who this person is but I'm certain I'm not a fan.
Wherever the police and national guard mobolize
You will find a Dunksmobile.

Where are the clear cups in the styrofoam?
Will we soon see those cars discarded and crushed on the streets of Boston, most commonly near construction sites?

But they could be from anywhere. Like rental cars.
As in Mediocre
A DD’s office manager in Canton in the mid 80s decided a delivery person
should not wear an earring. Never mind I wasn’t his employee and it had no bearing on my work. I didn’t think they were much good back then, the doughnut quality has become worse, the sandwiches are not very good and the coffee is just okay. Given their branding drives and expansion both geographic and in product lines, I guess that phobic Masshole moved up the corporate ladder.
