White duck and goose on the Esplanade

Liz the roving UHub photographer came upon a white duck having a grand old time hanging with a gaggle of geese on the Esplanade this afternoon.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a white duck in the Boston area.

in restaurants, though usually not white at that point. White ducks are domestic ducks. That one seems to have heard the call of the wild.

They all live under the BU Bridge, on the Cambridge side of the river. There must be 100 of those wide-necked things down there. I see them every single time.
