Man who was already wanted for attacks charged with double stabbing at Southampton Street shelter
Boston Police report arresting a Quincy man on charges he stabbed two men at the city shelter at 112 Southampton St. on Sunday afternoon.
Police say Anthony Wall, 34, stabbed the two other men around 2 p.m. Both were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
Wall was charged with two counts of armed assault with intent to kill, police say, adding he was already wanted on a warrant out of South Boston District Court on charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and assault and battery on a person over 60.
The double stabbing was the latest in a series of violent incidents in or near the shelter, which have included a murder last July, another murder in January, and a stabbing in February. Police have also made periodic drug arrests there.
Innocent, etc.

To repeat again...
The Long Island facilities help people in ALL the regional communities, not just Boston at the expense of Quincy. It's not a zero sum game.
Quincy has a homeless shelter
Quincy has a homeless shelter, Father Bill's.
Sure
My point is homeless people with mental health issues don't stop at town lines so policy shouldn't be made like they are.
The Street Without Joy
I go through there a couple of times a week. It's unbelievable how bad it is. I thought former Mayor Walsh was going to make some changes down there, but if he did I don't see it.
It's gotten worse, but Walsh isnt the only one to blame
Lots of 3rd party activist groups like the Boston Users Union have fought change at every opportunity.
He never cared about that
He punched his ticket to DC and left schools and homeless issues unaddressed. Lots of new construction though, which is what his masters wanted.
Kim
I have faith Kim Janey will fix some of these..
Remember when
They said Operation Clean Sweep was a bad thing?
Yes, because it absolutely
Yes, because it absolutely was a bad thing! Having cops arrest everyone (violent and not) is not even CLOSE to an actual solution. At best it'll get people off the streets for a short amount of time.
Can anyone even tell that Clean Sweep happened at this point? No. Because it was a chance for the cops to play hero and make a big, meaningless gesture where nothing of substance was changed.
