Sometimes, homeless people have pets, and they need care, too

The Street Dog Coalition is sponsoring a clinic later this month for the pets of homeless people or people at risk of becoming homeless.

The clinic, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 26 at Clifford Park, 160 Norfolk Ave. in Roxbury, will provide exams and flea and tick care as well as offer supplies.

Pets must be leashed or in carriers. Pre-registration is preferred, at [email protected].
