Great job following up that tip with a post here
so that he knows to avoid arrest by not returning to Pinebank Promontory. I'll cross-post this information to r/Hairproducts and r/BostonDogOwners just in case he doesn't regularly visit UHub.
An idea for next time.
Call the cops and tell them the info, but don't put on a local public message board that you told them to go to that exact spot. It would be very easy for the perp to get wind of that and just stay away from said spot. Sadly, it would mean less Likes for you so.
Eyeglass Theft
Is stealing prescription eyeglasses off of people's faces a thing now? What worth are they to you if they are not your prescription?
As an aside, I have been a daily T rider for over 40 years at all hours of the day and night in all locations and have never felt any fear. But lately I feel distinctly unsafe in the North Station T stop.
How did he manage to get into
How did he manage to get into the station w a dog, isn’t it illegal to bring your dog on the t? Too bad this is not enforced, for the obvious reasons as well as it could have been prevented. Broken windows theory, enforce and punish all crimes and criminals.
No, it isn't illegal
As long as the pet is restrained. We're not New York.
Dogs are like bikes: Not during rush and don't hog seats
The dogs I've seen are very well behaved. Sometimes if you travel in the middle of the day you'll see people training their dogs when the cars are almost empty.
We should probably
execute anyone with a dog, just to be safe. After all, laws and such.

Moot Point
Whether it is legal or illegal to bring dogs onto the T is a moot point. You are operating under the assumption that ANY law is enforced on the T, and they simply are not. The wearing of masks is not enforced (and they are not worn by T employees or the swarms of the opiate addicted and aggressively mentally ill that now populate the T), nor is any kind of law about being publicly stoned out of your mind and being a nuisance about it enforced, or any law about smoking in the stations, or urinating or defecating, or about uh, pleasuring oneself in public. I could go on and on, but you get the point loud and clear. I ride the T daily and have seen all of these things myself.
I’ve seen those things.
And I’ve also seen all those laws enforced. Not all T employees are spineless slackers.
MGL?
Which one is one about wearing a mask? Thought I’d was just a T guideline?
