What makes you think any of the parents knew their children were infected? More then likely none of the 16 were showing symptoms. According to the article, it was only due to regular testing that the outbreak was discovered.
It's just a cold, Junior.

Unrelated to Covid but related to the Manning area of JP, something I noticed in the election results the other evening: the 19-2 Manning pocket of JP is more like Westie north than JP. Went 2:1 for Wu, but Tamer actually won by a small margin over Hicks — in the rest of JP she lost by like 4:1.
Again, unrelated to covid.

I imagine the voting habits of the folks in this neighborhood reflect similar voting habits of West Roxbury as there are certain shared demographic qualities most predominant being, white majority and higher than average housing costs. The Park School, Showa and the Brookline Line are all in spitting distance.

May as well just claim to be in West Roxbury, given the mindset there.
Of course, losing the JP handle could affect property values, even though the real estate would not have moved an inch.

That is all accurate, but you'll remember that BPS doesn't assign strictly by nearest school.
This is a tiny school with three special ed strands, and it's 46.3% white (which is whiter than the district, but not nearly as white as that surrounding neighborhood). It's 15% English-not-first-language and 24% students with disabilities.
