Police say fresh footprints in the crunchy snow led officers to early morning Roxbury burglary suspect

Boston Police report arresting a man they say broke into the Expressions clothing store at 2235 Washington St. in Roxbury, then left fresh footprints that led officers right to him.

Police say Anthony Quinones, 40, broke into the store around 2:20 a.m., setting off an alarm that brought officers.

Officers observed that the door to the location had been broken, and observed what appeared to be empty merchandise racks inside of the store. Officers noted that there was fresh snowfall on the ground, with a set of footprints leading away from the location. Officers followed the snow tracks, and located Quinones a short distance away from the scene.

Quinones was arrested on a charge of breaking and entering, police say.

Innocent, etc.
