Good to see, hope it’s a success. We had a longtime independent bookstore in my town, then a Borders opened nearby. The small bookstore then closed and Borders went out of business thereafter, so no bookstore in my town now.

It will still be tough for an independent vendor. Amazon may have closed its brink n mortar - but they are still the first place folks go to get books. And with Prime; delivery can sometimes be within 24 hours...

I’ve been working to eliminate all Amazon from my life (including no Whole Foods).

Frugal Bookstore in Nubian Square and Susie’s Stories in Rockport, plus another in Northampton that I can’t think of the name of. The only three Black-owned brick-and-mortar bookstores in Massachusetts as far as I know.
