Citizen complaint of the day Somebody got really pissy in West Roxbury

A disgusted citizen filed a 311 report today about what sure looks like a pile of about 30 plastic bottles filled with urine at VFW Parkway and Charles Park Road (complaint has a photo in case you're having difficulty picturing a pile of urine-filled former water bottles).

I wrote to the state agency about this last summer! I think it’s state land so the city would probably punt it. Received a nice reply and a promise it would be taken care of. I guess not.

What it looks like is someone is pissing in a bottle and tossing it while making a left turn.. EVERY SINGLE DAY.

OMG.. long commute or small bladder?

People are so gross.

Delivery-truck drivers are known for doing this. They often don't have time to find a bathroom. I imagine Amazon drivers are feeling even more pressure than others.

Seems easier than trying to aim pee down a little hole... Cuz we know it's a guy . Lol.

And what, install it on the truck? Are you thinking one of those big porcelain things? Or is there some kind of truck chamberpot product I'm not aware of?

Doesn't have to be a guy. Anyone can pee in a bottle with the right equipment, either stock or aftermarket. Heck, they actually sell little funnel tube things for women who want to pee standing up, e.g. when hiking.

We just need to install collection baskets every mile or so.

Piss bombs gotta drop.
Yes, people are gross.

..then dumping them all at once.

That's gotta be at least a couple weeks worth. A bottle a day would have been reported much sooner - one would hope. But then one would hope that people wouldn't do this.

I bike the Providence Highway section of Rt1 regularly. Yellow, liquid filled water bottles are not uncommon.

Yep. People ARE gross.

And I thought Hyde Park had liter problems.

Those have been there for awhile. There are complaints on 311 going back months, all still open, not even a "Case noted."

A frequent sight where I live as well. I say it's time for a proper bill that forces the distributor to retrieve the bottle and the bottle content, whatever it might be.

Most likely left by people looking for work as day laborers. Go by any Home Depot or Lowes anywhere and you'll see a similar pile.

That was there on Sunday, noticed it on my way back from Home Depot.

What's fun is when they heat up in the sun and the pressure builds up, and then they burst when the unfortunate highway cleanup worker picks them up.
