Boston Restaurant Talk reports the P.F. Chang's at Legacy Place is going to be replaced by a Capital Grille, which offers neither Chinese food nor giant horse statues.

Giant Horses?
By John Costello

Adam does back to back stories about places with Horse Sculptures in front of them in a row.
I'm waiting for a story on Ipswich Town's stadium next for a threefer.
Oh, wow ...

You're right. Too bad there's no reason to write about the starving horses in the Seaport that were relocated from the Common (if they're still there).
You Mean Partisans?

I love that work. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Partisans_(sculpture)
That piece in in its 3rd place. It is tied with that bent piece of sheet metal that is on Franklin Street that was at the corner of Court and Tremont for years as the most moved piece of public art in the City.
If the horse and riders of Partisans could come to life and destroy the Edgar Allen Poe statue and Irish Famine Memorial, public art would be so much better in this city.

Good riddance to the horses

Lots of near-misses along that section of sidewalk because it narrows down to a couple of feet to get by the huge horses. Especially once outdoor dining season ends and there are just two huge unexplained horses. I'll grab a sledgehammer if given the opportunity.

if I call information to get the number so I can make a reservation at Capital Grille, do I pronounce the “e” or is it silent?

have stupid apprehensions about dining in Chinatown: they only do bowdlerized crap like PF Chang's.
But the location did seem especially ironic to me. Walk a few blocks over to, say, Best Little Restaurant, and you could get the traditional Cantonese dish ("minced meat with string bean and lettuce") that inspired this insipid chain's hilariously overhyped lettuce wraps -- just at five times the quality for a tenth of the price. Ya missed it by a million miles by *that much*.

Ok, but the PF Chang’s that’s closing is in Dedham, not the one near Chinatown.

Transportation Building PF Chang's near Park Plaza in Boston.
Best Little Restaurant is no more. It occupied a space on Hudson St near New Jumbo Seafood, where it flourished for years as a humble, very traditional Cantonese restaurant. It got a dining room and menu refresh a few years ago as BLR by Shojo when it got bought by the Shojo folks, but did not survive covid.
I actually riffed on the PF Chang's-next-to-Chinatown irony some years ago as a guest on a food-nerd podcast. Looks like that location is going to have me still shaking my head for a while yet.

I got a fortune cookie at this place once that said “go to be with itchy bum, wake up with stinky finger.” I will never forget it.
