On Boston's smallest subway line, the maintenance delays are a bit shorter than a month

The MBTA is reporting delays of up to 20 minutes on the Blue Line "due to a maintenance train inspecting the overhead wires."

This happens daily on the Blue Line. Do not advise traveling between 11am and noon.

I am a daily Blue Line commuter and there isn't a day that goes by when something doesn't break down or is otherwise delayed. I guess that very recent month of Blue Line shutdown and bustitution (a complete nightmare in and of itself) was for naught. The funny thing is, there is a myth among non-Blue Line riders that it is the most efficient of the T lines due to it's small scale. Come and see for yourself and your mind will be changed.

Back when I lived in EB 7-8 years ago the Blue Line was incredibly reliable compared to the other lines..but deferred and ignored maintenance seem to have taken it's toll.

The leaks that were supposedly fixed didn't seem to have any impact on the Aquarium station.

So I guess this means the Mattapan High Speed Trolley Line is officially part of the Red Line. I always thought it was the smallest subway line.
