Two nailed for failed pedi larceny in West Roxbury, police say

Boston Police report they caught two suspects red-handed inside a nail salon on Washington Street in West Roxbury early this morning.

Police say an off-duty officer noticed two guys trying to break into Lovely Nails, 5256 Washington St., shortly after midnight. Arriving on-duty officers went around back and "observed a damaged open door," which they then entered themselves. Inside, police say, they found Arthur Pauleus, 19, of Roxbury, and a 15-year-old from Hyde Park too young to have his name released.

Both were charged with felony breaking and entering in the nighttime and destruction of property, police say.
