Norwood man turns self in for Roslindale road-rage stabbing
Boston Police report Charles Wilkerson Jr., 27, of Norwood, turned himself in last night after learning he was wanted for stabbing a shuttle-bus driver in the leg on Washington Street near Forest Hills earlier in the day.
According to police, officers found a Faulkner Hospital shuttle bus with several passengers and a newly stabbed driver around 4:45 p.m. on Washington Street:
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers were advised that the suspect was operating a white pick-up truck and the victim was operating a shuttle van with multiple occupants.
Officers were made aware this originated from a road rage incident. The suspect began to fight with the victim, and subsequently stabbed the victim.
Wilkerson was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police say.
