Five Amtrak workers injured in track-maintenance work near Readville station

WCVB reports that one Amtrak maintenance vehicle collided with another around 4:30 a.m. on Northeast Corridor tracks just north of Readville station, sending five workers to the hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

Several individuals should lose their employment, in age of instant communication GPS and electronic tracking, there's no way this should have occurred.

Sure they probably had all of those safety measures but they have long stopped working. It's each man for themselves now.

Amtrak is a separate entity.

There's plenty of blame to shed onto The T, but not this.
