Boston Restaurant Talk reports Rangzen Tibetan Place in Central Square in Cambridge has closed after 25 years.

I appreciated their philosophy on animal welfare and reason for serving beef only. The reasoning was that the amount of suffering and pain a cow feels is equal to the pain and suffering any other animal feels. But a cow can feed many more people than a rabbit. So there is less pain and suffering in the world when a cow is the meal.

I used to really impress business guests by taking them to the lunch buffet. Food was delicious and it felt like a hidden gem.
