We have an eighteenth century constitution, written for an agrarian society of gentlemen farmers. There were no industrial workers in America in 1787, and even in England, the industrial revolution was in its infancy. Unions and strikes were yet unheard of.

Surely everyone at UHub knows that federal statute conveys the ability to collectively bargain and strike in private industry and state statute controls public employees.
Our constitutions have nothing to do with it.
