I thought these flyovers were a 2 for 1 type situation? The pilots get their hours of required training and the stadiums get their air parade. If they're going to be in the air, why not do something with them? Actually, maybe it's a 3 for 1: the military gets to use it for PR/marketing.
Seems like it unnecessarily disregards public safety and health however.
It doesn’t make me a fan of the military. To the contrary. I’d rather see them performing humanitarian acts rather than showing off military might and arrogance.
