Which neighborhood you think Britney Spears would move to?

News item: Britney Spears says she's moving to Boston.

Tom Brady's condo on Comm. Ave. in the Back Bay is now for sale. Or do you think she'd be one of those people who buys an actual house in, oh, Newton, then says she's from Boston?

I think she is more like an Allston/Brighton girl.

It sounds like she lives in a hotel.

So I'd venture something like a suite at the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, etc.

When it was new it was said that Britney was part owner of the Onyx Hotel on Portland Street, but I don't know if that is still true.

five-star hotels: Raffles Boston, the new Four Seasons on Dalton, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, maybe The Newbury or Boston Harbor Hotel. Probably necessary for privacy and security: private garages and elevators, etc. Buy a whole floor or three of them.

There are also a couple of towers with lots of functionally empty ultralux apartments that meet those requirements.

is one of the mansions in the area of Brookline south of Route 9 and west of Jamaica Pond that includes Lars Anderson Park and The Country Club, many of which have big, gated grounds. Brady and Kraft and other Richie Riches own or have owned estates in that area. Close to the city, private, securable.

Honestly the trailer park is really nice - riverfront views, people generally upkeep their spots, tucked away from any pass-through traffic... nicer than some neighborhoods in Boston, for sure.

The land used to be owned by the guy who owned the car dealership next door and he tried to evict everybody so he could expand, but they fought back. It took ten years and the help of the state senator at the time, but they won and he gave up and sold them the land.

And that's why Boston has an actual trailer park, kids.

If she wants to get away from things and have chill neighbors she should move to Roslindale. It’s nice and quiet here, and I’m pretty sure my neighbors would chase away anyone who looked like paparazzi.

She's more likely to end up in South Boston, VA.

It may be too big for just her but she'd fit right in :)

We could have afternoon coffees together

How about one of those fancy new buildings in Assembly Row?

Tremont on the Common like Madonna before her. Great views from there. Her kids could play in the Common. There's even a crosswalk nearby if they never acclimate to the Boston way of crossing streets.

I figure she's headed for McLeans.

I doubt that @MassMouse. If I had her kind of money I'd explore more of America every few decades too.

I wonder if the boys plan to go to college in the Greater Boston area?
