What's upsetting is not just the bullying (which is upsetting enough - pinning to the ground with his knee and yelling 'George Floyd' repeatedly?!). The alleged lack of responsiveness of the school is inexcusable. Physical assault needs to be taken seriously.

Seems like administrators have conveniently forgotten about their legal responsibilities.

And I thought the Brookline Police were bad for stopping an inordinate amount of drivers for "Driving while Black". Brookline Public Schools leadership should be ashamed of themselves.

Who do you think these ignoramus bullies grow up to be when they have to get a job and find out they can carry a badge and a gun with ZERO educational requirements, just 5 months of police training, and get to make $80,000 - $100,000 right off the bat?

Was there video and audio of all this alleged harassment? I didn't see it mentioned in the Complaint.

Half the text of the Facts in the Complaint is about unrelated incidents in other places and "studies." Evidence of any of this actually happening was thin.

It might be a surprise to people, but some Complaints are shakedowns based on fiction.

At this stage none of us know what happened.

I see we are being visited by the White Man Who Has Never Dealt With Racism or Sexism and wants to be able to be the judge of whether something he's never experienced actually happened!

That's nice dear.

There is a reason that this is now a court case and will be subject to presentation of evidence and witness testimony. Try to keep up - and get some ice for that patellar black eye you just gave yourself.

I had the not-uncommon Boston white boy experience of being beaten up by older black males For No Reason Other than Being on the old (El) Orange Line.

More than once - riding that line was always the Terror Train. You're from the 'burbs, you missed the childhood fun.

As for "there's a reason it's a court case," anyone can file a civil complaint suing the King of the Moon if you wish.

I see Jussie Smolett could still have supporters.

Oh Honey. Such sad. Boo Hoo.

Now see who rents to you, who gives you an interview, etc. See how that works, dear?

You have a fuckton to learn about how power and prejudice result in misery for most people who do not have your birth privileges.
