A media article on Boston.com recently discussed the increased ratings on Fox News cable channel and attributed them to Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, and Sean Hannity as having "fueled Fox News’s rising viewership this year." God help us.

Fox’s strong year hasn’t come without controversy. Some critics worry about overheated rhetoric - Beck has called Obama a racist and joked about poisoning Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi - and they suggest Fox has helped lead, instead of just following, the president’s opponents.
Glenn Beck gets hoisted on his own petard by the ladies at The View, fairly so. It's worth the watch becuase it reveals Beck as a fact-free lying commentator entertainer.

Glenn Beck warned everyone Obama would take away freedom and redistribute wealth and turn us into a socialist Marxist nation. Obama has 32 Czars that are transforming this country into something, I don't know what. And the government plans to change health care without even reading the bill. Don't they know about the death panels and denying grandma health care??? Obama is also raising a civilian army. Why? I don't know but it makes me afraid for the country I love. When is enough enough? Sometime the tree of freedom must be watered with the blood of tyrants. Who could argue with that? Only people against freedom!!!!

I want people to remember the rights that we have and how quickly we're losing them in this country. Fear - Uncertainty - Doubt
The GOP is going back to basics. Get the grassroots support for a "change" of government by starting as many ridiculous rumors as possible. Talk radio will propel the nonsense to the national level and sooner or later someone has to spend all their time calling "BS" on the theories.
Unfortunately there will be people whose bitterness and hate are the only emotions that motivate them. Rational thought is such a rarity.
