This was a young promising life that was taken away for what reason? He had his past but, don't we all.

There was so much that he wanted and was working towards accomplishing yet someone would not let him alone. Well, you can't hurt him anymore. I wonder; was it really worth it?

I hope they catch you and that you sit the rest of your life thinking about that night you could have just went on with your business and left Tyrone with his efforts to move on with his own life.

This is sad! He did'nt deserve this. Alot of people dont. It's always the good ones that end up dying. He was a good young man. Some coward-a** Ni*** took his life. God does not like ugly. So who ever did this will pay.

It's ashame that another young life has fallen victimized to handgun violence...Tyrone Hicks was a very smart person who's decisions in the past doesn't reflect the great potential he once had within..I had the chance to be blessed with his presents laughter, smiles and friendship..It's very sad and pointless for those involved in GANG VIOLENCE....It's not gona make you cool or a man, it only makes you a coward within..Reputation is something that's earned and not by pretending to be something or someone your not... To stand on corners with street signs saying "this is my hood" it's ludacris.. Especially when that same sign would be there when your life ends...What's The Reason?...

All you young men who are looking for revenge need to look at Tyrone's mother and the rest of the family. Remember there faces and tears and hurt. It solves nothing but creates pain and death. Just picture your mothers faces and your family or the people who love you the most. You may not know Jesus, he is the one who will let your enemies get their just rewards I see it all the time. My son's life was loved and lost. And many grieve him. Some I know some I don't......His little sister cries every night for the loss of her big brother. Those that knew Tyrone well knew that he had a good heart! Just got caught up like most of you. However he is gone now and nothing anyone tries to do will bring him back. But what we can do, is honor him by making a change!

Whoa! Where do I start? I have, for many years, been working with young men like Tyrone. LaDawn (Ty's Mom) and I have discussed ways to defeat the streets stronghold on our children. We both agree, GIVE GLORY TO GOD. When you truly worship him and believe in him and the power he has for you, then all thing come to you. I coached Tyrone in 2001 in football, as I have many. His wake was my seventh in twelve years, of a young person I tried to touch the soul of. I pray it will stop! Our hearts pain each day. There is LOVE hear for all of our young people.
