Why is so much pertinent info redacted by BC?
B.C.'s reluctance to name names

they dont want to piss of any wealthy alumni by putting there poor babies name into the paper. they are more intersted in donations to the schoool than they are victims of crime.
check out the story a few years back about a girl who was raped on campus by the son of a wall street big shot. the rapist walked away unscathed. the victim was unable to pursue her dreams in the military because of an alleged suicide attempt, after the alledged rape. BC got a new dorm out of the deal.
dirty scumbags up there protecting the rich.
It sounds like they were non-students anyway..

So they might not want to put victims names or anyones name in there before the investigation is complete I would think.
The names will come out.

In response to bostnkid, I can tell you as a BC parent, that there are many students at BC that are NOT wealthy, but being determined as worthy of acceptance at BC, are receiving very generous financial aid from the school.
I do not know the history of the rape story referred to, and do not debate what you say about the rapist son of a Wall Street big shot walking away because of preferential treatment, because it may very well be true, and is very wrong...but, please do not ignore the MANY positives that BC does for underprivileged students and the community at large.
It's always important to look at the big picture......I realize this is harder if you're personally connected to a situation where someone has been victimized.
I would suspect we'll the names of the arrested suspects in the BC stabbing in the very near future.

im sure the names will come out. i just have a problem with the way BC handles certain situations. there was an accident with a train last year and the story only leaked out in dribs and drabs. if they had been local kids you would have had the whole story faster. bc likes to sit on things and then spin them to protect those they view as worthy of protection. you wouldnt believe what the student athletes get away with.

smoking marajuana with no punishment, regular students are disciplined.
walking into classes 45 minutes late.
bringing huge trays of food to class.
chewing tobbacco in class and spitting into cups.
leaving class at break. everytime, every student athlete.
fudged drug tests.
having students assigned to particular athletes to make sure they wake up, go to class, and pass in assignments. (ever heard of chris herren?)
fights are always covered up. this is why the jocks cant go to maryanns. bc cant cover that stuff up anymore.
athletes caught with weapons are dealt with by campus police only, boston and newton police almost never see any athletes unless they get caught off campus.
I don't know about that

I don't know about that particular case, but keep in mind that many rape accusations are later found to be false, for various reasons.
It's such a serious and emotional topic, and many people tend to assume guilt upon accusation.
