A dispute over traffic accident on Morrissey Boulevard by Freeport Street around 3 p.m. ended with one motorist stabbing the other. Traffic in the area is slowed as police investigate what is now a crime scene. More to come, no doubt.

And here I had assumed it was blocked off because they finally figured out to close it when it's under water.
Oh, and the map is showing the wrong intersection of Morrissey and Freeport. It was closed off closer to the other intersection of Morrissey and Freeport. The northbound lane of Morrissey was blocked off from Freeport (the northernmost one, right where 93 goes over Morrissey) up to the JFK/UMass rotary.

Where to begin with this one? Channel 5 reports the guy who got stabbed wasn't even in the accident. He was apparently annoyed by the delay, so pulled up past the two drivers exchanging papers and:
So one of the drivers happened to have a knife and says he was only defending himself.

i had a guy get out of his car and stick his head in my window once. he was like a wild animal and i wasnt sure what he might have been capable of doing. i had others with me in the car and once he leaned in and got his face right in front of my steering wheel i two handed his face into my wheel. he leaned back out stunned and i drove away. once he comes into my car and gets in my face what are my rights? if i had a legal firearm could i shoot him? i know the big part of the law is whoever gets out first is the agressor and gets charged but what happens if you sit in your car and you could be potentially attacked or killed. i keep a hammer in the car now.
