Man shot in Jamaica Plain

Updated Wednesday morning.

Boston Police report a man was shot in the stomach around 2:15 p.m. at 170 Heath St. The man, who was found at 154 Heath, was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital and is expected to survive.

Since when is 154 Heath considered JP? I used to live behind there, and I called it Mission Hill.

In addition to being in the 02130, 154 Heath is a Bromley address...which is definitely in JP.

tired of shootings moving out of JP

I've lived here for almost a year and there def are aspects of JP I will miss (mostly pond and proximity to Arboretum+a few restaurants) but I'm tired of living only a few blocks away (really .25 mile in all directions from my apt) from shootings
