H Block vs. Heath Street? Man shot on Holworthy Street, suspect arrested on Heath Street
Boston Police report finding a man shot around 7:50 p.m. yesterday at 41 Holworthy St. in Roxbury's H Block area.
The victim is in stable condition, police say.
Police say a witness reported a black Cadillac fleeing the scene. Not long after, police say:
Officers observed a black Cadillac matching the description in the area of Parker Street and Health Street. Officers observed the motor vehicle slow down, come to a complete stop then reverse into a parking lot. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The uncooperative driver attempted to leave his motor vehicle with the windows open. Officers were able to recover a firearm inside the motor vehicle.
Paul Walrond, 22, of Braintree, was charged with assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm with 500 feet of a dwelling, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (gun), operating without a license and receiving stolen property over $250 (the gun).
