Two shot on Humboldt Avenue in Roxbury

Boston Police report two men were shot early this morning at 249 Humboldt Ave.

Both men got to Boston Medical Center without the aid of Boston EMS around 5:40 a.m. One is in critical but stable condition, the other is expected to survive.

Any info on a vehicle they're looking for? I heard something about a black SUV on the scanner this morning (I happened to be awake and heard the shots), but communications died out shortly after. So much for feeling safer after that roundup the other week, eh?

Just heard another gunfight in the area about 10-15 minutes ago. BPD is very busy here today.
