Girls slug it out

I was at Fields Corner station around 3pm today and watched thru the window girls fighting, slugging it out, fists, grabbing hair, screaming, yelling. And other girls taking pictures of the fight with their phones.
I've never seen this before.

When school gets out the red line rumbles began. A CSA at JFK told me they have a special train every day called the fight train
The fight, or the phones?

Because I watched lots of knock down, drag out girl-fights in south Philly in the mid 90's. It happens. The phone thing is relatively recent, though.

Excellent choice of clothes for school.
(Yes, I'm aware that even MIT kids wear their jammies to class. I still think it's tacky.)

I used to work at the Burke. It's had a reputation as a troubled school for a long time. (The worst reputation of any high school in the city?) However, I was very pleased to hear that they were taken off the turnaround school list last year. I've heard that they've made good progress the last few years.
