Man charged with Dorchester pistol whipping

Boston Police report arresting a man they say ended a fight on Fuller Street Thursday night by getting out a loaded gun and smacking his opponent in the head with it.

Anthony Suggs, 50, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon after the incident around 8:45 p.m. behind 97 Fuller St. Police say they found Suggs with a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson model 439 handgun in a holster in his waistband not long after.

Mercedes Wheeler, 40, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon for the incident, police add.
