Two of three suspects arrested for Dorchester gunpoint robbery

Boston Police report arresting two teenagers they say helped hold up somebody at gunpoint shortly before 1:45 p.m. on Monday.

Police say the two, plus a third suspect still at large, stuck somebody up outside 8 Evans St., off Milton Avenue. The victim told police the three then ran into a building nearby, at 30 Dyer St.

Additional responding units set a perimeter and entered the building at which time they located Teshawn Hector-Coleman, 18, of Dorchester and a 17-year-old male from Mattapan who were both positively identified and placed in custody without incident. The third suspect who was observed brandishing a firearm during the robbery was not located after an exhaustive search. Officers later located and recovered a loaded .40 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun with an obliterated serial number which had been discarded behind the building.

Coleman was charged with armed robbery and breaking and entering of a dwelling. The juvenile, not named because of his age, was charged with being delinquent for armed robbery and breaking and entering.

Innocent, etc.
