South End convenience store held up at gunpoint

The 7-Eleven on Washington Street at Mass. Ave. was held up around 8:50 p.m. by two men, one of whom had a gun and who may have used it to shoot out a store window.

That's a little confusing. Are you saying that we don't even know if a gun was used?
An initial report
The guy definitely had a gun. An initial report indicated a window appeared to have been shot from the inside.
