Man shot to death in Mattapan

Victim identified as Garfield Thomas, 33, of Mattapan.

Boston Police report a man was shot around 10:40 a.m. at 50 Evelyn St. in Mattapan. The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

He is Boston's 20th murder victim in 2018.
