Two sought for armed home invasion in Roxbury
Boston Police reports they are looking for two men they say broke into an apartment through a rear window and tied an occupant up and blindfold her - after first threatening her with both a knife and a gun.
Police say the armed home invasion happened in the area of Rand and Julian streets around 10:30 a.m. last Friday
After tying the woman up:
The victim stated the males proceeded to take various items of value before fleeing the residence, leaving her home in a state of disarray.
Police say detectives obtained surveillance video which shows the two before the home invasion in the area of Dacia and Brookford streets about an hour before:
The male on the bicycle with red pegs and brakes travels on Brookford Street, down Woodbine Street before disappearing in the area of Warren Street.
The second male on the bicycle with blue handle bars travels on Brookford Street to Blue Hill Avenue before disappearing in the area of Lawrence Avenue.

Neither surveillance photo looks like it would be a bluebike, they've got those obnoxiously patterned jetBlue-esque rip-off branded rear wheel covers. though, i have noticed an uptick in rouge, un-docked bluebikes around.

I was asking based on the mention of blue in the report and the original headline mention of Upham's Corner. I live not too far from there and we've had occasional problems with trespassers, sometimes coming and going via Blue Bikes.

I'm glad for once that the news had finally got it correct that this area is Dorchester BTW #30 Julian Street is at the corner of Cottage Court and Julian Street. They had to go between the two houses on Julian Street because there is five cameras with in the courtyard because of the new construction of housing
