Two men shot on Washington Street in Grove Hall; one dead

Boston Police report two men were shot shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Washington Street at Normandy Street.

One victim was transported to a local trauma unit with injuries serious enough to have the homicide unit called in. Both men were transported to local trauma units; one was declared dead, the other is expected to survive.

Numerous shots fired; Sun Pizza and Brother's Supermarket on Washington Street were both hit.

This is Boston's first murder in 2020.
