Police: Guy was walking around Grove Hall with a gun loaded with 13 bullets

Boston Police report arresting a Roxbury man on gun charges Thursday night - after they say officers watched him and a 15-year-old pal from Mattapan walking for several blocks away from Blue Hill Avenue with "their hands tucked into their front waistbands with their heads darting back and forth scanning the area."

Police say what led the officers to move in on the two, around 10 p.m., was when they briefly lost sight of them in the area of Schuyler and Maple streets and then "heard a loud thud coming from the area of 26 Schuyler Street consistent with the sound of an empty trash barrel being placed on the ground:"

At this time, one of the males emerged from the driveway where several trash barrels were located, running away from officers as the second male slowly exited the side yard of the residence with his hands above his head. Officers continued their pursuit to the area of 33 Schuyler Street where the male suspect was apprehended. Officers searched the trash barrels and recovered a Ruger SR40C loaded with thirteen rounds of live ammunition inside of one of the trash barrels.

Rafalin Stalin, 23, of Roxbury, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a high-capacity feeding device, carrying a loaded weapon on a public way and trespassing. The 15-year-old was charged with trespassing, police say.

Innocent, etc.

I was going to go with 'thirteen being unlucky', but then I thought, 'Damn, I hope this one stands up in court' (they've been a bit quirky lately) then I saw his name.

Stalin Himself is running around in Roxbury with an illegal gun.
