Boston Police report arresting two men they say were wandering around Roxbury Friday and early today, one on foot, the other in a gold BMW.

Police say officers responded to a call about a man with a gun on Warren Street across from Boston Latin Academy around 6:10 p.m. on Friday and found a man matching a witness description - who they say ran behind 442 Warren St. and then hopped over a fence and ran down Glenburne Street.

Officers pursued the male on foot, locating a discarded firearm in the rear of 3 Quincy Place. Assisting units, including two K-9s, responded to the scene and set up a perimeter in an effort to locate the suspect. As the K-9s were deployed, they quickly located and apprehended the male who was lying down in the thick brush next to 1 Gannett Street. The firearm was determined to be a V. Bernardelli Model 80 .380 caliber firearm loaded with five rounds of live ammunition.

Ramone Miles, 49, of Mattapan, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, third offense, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition, police say. He was also charged as a Level 3 armed career criminal, which could mean a longer sentence if he's convicted on the other charges.

Around 3:35 a.m. today, police say, officers on patrol in the area of Washington Street and Guild Row spotted a speeding gold BMW, which they took after and tried to stop, after learning its owner had a suspended registration:

Initially, the vehicle came to a stop at the intersection of Washington Street and Dudley Street, but then continued onto Dudley Street before eventually coming to a stop in the area of Malcolm X Boulevard and Roxbury Street. ... The occupants were removed from the vehicle and an inventory was conducted prior to towing. Behind the driver’s seat inside of a white bag on the floor, officers located a black SCCY CPX-2 9mm firearm loaded with ten rounds of live ammunition. The operator was taken into custody. The remaining occupants were identified and released from the scene.

Daniel Rosario, 27, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, second offense, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and driving an unregistered car, police say. Rosario is still awaiting trial following his arrest on similar gun charges on Norfolk Street in Dorchester in January.

Innocent, etc.

You’d say they were asking to be pulled over just for speeding...but yeah, you probably need an obvious and unusual vehicle to get the cops to actually care about that.

Is this your way of saying you're a white guy, not from the community this affects, who is content with the gigantic number of brown skinned people we put in prison and who would like more of it?
