Man in SUV shot in the head on Kingsdale Street in Dorchester; he makes it to Blue Hill Avenue before crashing

Victim identified as Isaiah Pires Andrade, 18, of Randolph.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., a man in an SUV was shot on Kingsdale Street, off Wales Street. He managed to drive down Wales and then turned onto Talbot and drove to Blue Hill Avenue, where he crashed and EMTs found him.

Police who arrived on the scene moments later immediately summoned the homicide unit due to the severity of his injuries.

A house on Kingsdale Street had fresh gunshot damage.
