Boston Police report arresting a Quincy man on charges he stabbed two men at the city shelter at 112 Southampton St. on Sunday afternoon.
Police say Anthony Wall, 34, stabbed the two other men around 2 p.m. Both were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
Wall was charged with two counts of armed assault with intent to kill, police say, adding he was already wanted on a warrant out of South Boston District Court on charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and assault and battery on a person over 60.
The double stabbing was the latest in a series of violent incidents in or near the shelter, which have included a murder last July, another murder in January, and a stabbing in February. Police have also made periodic drug arrests there.
