Gun and bullets

Fierce gun and some of the bullets.

Boston Police report they caught a man with a loaded gun red handed - and fast asleep - outside the East Boston Savings Bank branch on Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester on Tuesday.

Police say officers on patrol responded to the bank branch at 489 Gallivan Blvd. around 9:30 p.m. after being flagged down by somebody forced to slow because of a car parked on the roadway - who noticed that "the driver of the motor vehicle appeared to be asleep with a gun on his lap."

Officers activated their lights and sirens, exited their cruiser and when they approached the vehicle, they observed the driver, later identified as, Khari Wilcox, 24, of Brockton, to be asleep. Officers observed the firearm on Wilcox’s lap and as they attempted to awake him, he became non-compliant. After a brief struggle he was safely placed under arrest.

The gun was "a Beretta PX4 Storm with one round in the chamber and thirteen rounds in the magazine," police say, adding they also found Wilcox had a plastic bag of crack, another bag of Xanax pills, a third bag with as yet unknown pills and $2,718 in bills.

Wilcox was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of Class B and Class E drugs and resisting arrest, police say.

Innocent, etc.

Very often, these photos of guns and the bullets have what looks like several different types of bullets-- four, at least, in the photo above. I realize that different bullets do different things, but is the mixing-and-matching intentional, or what? ***Not a comment, just a curiosity; I'm assuming here (maybe incorrectly) that the bullets pictured came from, or were intended for, that particular gun.

Donate the money to charity. They should always do that when they bust drug dealers
