Person shot on Baird Street, around corner from B-3 police station

Live Boston reports a man sitting in a car on Baird Street, near Blue Hill Avenue, was shot in the head shortly after 7:30 p.m. Because of the severity of the victim's injuries, the homicide unit was called in.
