Man shot to death on Franklin Hill Avenue in Dorchester

Victim identified as Michael Collins, Jr., 18, of Dorchester.

A man was shot in the head at Franklin Hill Avenue and Shandon Road in Dorchester around 11 p.m.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he died, Boston Police report.

Numerous gunshots reported.

On Nov. 9, a man was shot to death at Harvard and Paxton streets.
